Friday Midnight at Mercato Centrale

I've been a follower of Mercato Centrale but I never had the chance to go there for some reasons, until recently Maxx and I finally agreed to have our first Midnight Mercato experience.  I always take note of their announcements and write it down on my notebook in case there will be a chance. I'm  always up-to-date with their latest news like recently (April 30 and May 1) they had a special Weekend Treat, shops offered great discounts and goodies.

We planned our food trip that day, we even had light dinner because we wanted to come at Mercato starving. Going to Bonifacio Global City is very easy. I just ask Mercato Centrale on Facebook how to get to BGC and they immediately responded, isn't that easy? :)  Kidding aside, we took the MRT going Ayala Station and look for "The Fort Bus"  East Route plying Bonifacio Global City from EDSA/Ayala (just across Shell Station). Fare is p12. We were dropped  just before MC Home (landmarks Mcdonald and St. Lukes Global City). We walked a few blocks and reach Mercato Centrale (across MC Home Depot). If you want to take a taxi that would be  convenient but it's fun walking at the middle of the night and sightseeing at BGC. The Fort Bus is operating 24/7, you can catch a bus anytime of the day.

We started at the dessert section. There’s a wide range of mouth-watering food selections. You’ll find almost everything here! From nuts to cakes and pastries, chocolates, cheesecake to ice cream and those that looks unfamiliar and new to us. Here you’ll find the popular Mochiko Mochi Ice Creams and Gelati.

desserts

We had Manang’s Chicken (6 pcs). They can give you different flavors if you want, I had 3pcs original and 3 pcs mild spicy. This is really delicious and tasty. I love the sauce and sesame seeds. Truly one of Mercato's Certified Favorite. We also tried Ultimate lasagna at p105, a regular gelati at p80, a large cup of watermelon shake only at p70 and Gulaman with almond jelly at p35.
These sweet desserts become another favorite. It’s so yummy, I love the Pistachio, Cookies and Cream and Choco Banana Peanut.
This is another Certified Mercato Favorite, the Big Bob’s Charcoal Grilled Burgers.

Never worry, chairs and table are readily available so you can eat comfortably or you may  want to stay inside the air conditioned tent. The place was very nice and clean. Even the vendors are dressed appropriately. Truly, they have unique intelligence, creating delightful and delicious food at a reasonable price.
